Something quite exciting happened to me recently: my winning cupcake for October’s Mystery Box Cupcake Challenge was included in Lisa Orgler’s The Lunchbox Project. Lisa is an illustrator who runs a blog where she draws food in her unique style and a shop that sells the resulting prints, cards, stickers, etc. I first learned of her when competing in the Mystery Box Cupcake Challenge; she sponsors the contest by creating the monthly illustrations and donating a print. I was lucky enough to win one.
When contacted about illustrating my cupcake, I knew that the result would be totally adorable. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long to see it, and I wasn’t disappointed! What’s more is that after Lisa finishes illustrating the other 15 cupcakes part of this month’s project, all of the drawings will be included in a poster.
